Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has inaugurated the newly upgraded Executive Council Chambers at the Governor’s Office in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, as part of his administration’s long-term urban renewal efforts.

The governor announced the completion of the remodeling in a statement on X, noting that the former chamber had deteriorated significantly. He explained that renovating the existing facility was a more practical and cost-effective choice than building a new office.

The upgraded chambers now feature modern lighting, digital systems, improved seating, and other technological enhancements to support effective decision-making during executive meetings.

Abiodun said the project aligns with broader infrastructure renewal plans across Ogun State, including upgrades in key areas like the Ibara GRA. He linked the remodeling to the administration’s ISEYA development agenda, which covers infrastructure, security, education, health, and housing.

Former Governor Olusegun Osoba commissioned the remodeled chambers. Abiodun praised Osoba’s support and noted his commendation of other ongoing projects, including the refurbishment of the MKO Abiola Stadium and the Cultural Centre.

The governor added that the renovations aim to create a modern, functional environment that boosts investor confidence and positions Ogun State as a forward-looking destination for growth.
