Actress Regina Daniels has publicly stated that her relationship with Ned Nwoko was never legally recognized, describing their union as lacking formal marital backing.
In a series of posts on Instagram early Sunday, Daniels addressed the conflicts that have strained their relationship. She admitted to using drugs but insisted that this was not the root cause of their disputes.
“Fine, I did drugs. So what? Is that even the issue between us? The moment we had a fight, you rushed to the public shouting ‘drugs, drugs, drugs,’ because you knew it would make a perfect story for the media, something dramatic enough to distract everyone from the real issue!” she wrote.
The actress accused the lawmaker of attempting to isolate her from her family and support system. She claimed that her phones were confiscated for weeks to prevent communication with loved ones and that she was sometimes confined to a room and declared mentally unstable when she sought independence from the relationship.
“Every problem we have had started when I no longer wanted you, whether sober or even high. Tell people the truth,” Daniels added.
This latest revelation comes amid ongoing public disputes between the actress and her estranged husband, with Daniels previously claiming that Nwoko possessed private recordings and had threatened her safety.
