Mrs Uchechi Kanu, the wife of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu, has stated that the apologies made by her husband’s lawyer, Kanu Agabi, SAN, in court are “yielding results.”
In a press statement shared with Sunday PUNCH, she emphasized the importance of Agabi’s efforts to ease tensions in the ongoing legal proceedings.
“The apologies were Agabi’s initiative to clarify past arguments and outbursts witnessed at Justice Binta Nyako’s court,” Uchechi said.
She praised the move as crucial for facilitating dialogue and peaceful coexistence, adding that Agabi’s stature helped restore decorum in the courtroom.
Agabi had apologized on behalf of Kanu, acknowledging the unjustified nature of the previous attacks on the court and the legal team.
