An expanded meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) is currently underway in Abuja in honour of the late former President, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu approved the special session as part of a series of events to pay tribute to his predecessor, who passed away earlier this week.

The meeting, which is being held at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, is attended by current and former cabinet members, as well as key government functionaries who served under both Buhari and Tinubu.

The session aims to reflect on the leadership and legacy of President Buhari, and marks a solemn moment in the nation’s political history.
