
Chinedu Izuchukwu Okoli, popularly known as Flavour N’abania, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist born on November 23, 1983, in Enugu State, Nigeria.¹ He hails from Umunze in Orumba South of Anambra State and grew up in a middle-class family.
Flavour’s musical journey began at a young age, playing drums for his church choir in Enugu. His pastor introduced him to Chris I. Ordor, the CEO of SoundCity Communications, who became his mentor.² He enrolled in a music scholarship program, studying music theory and instrumental performance.

Flavour’s music career took off in 2005 with the release of his debut album, “N’abania,” which gained moderate success in eastern Nigeria. However, it was his sophomore album, “Uplifted” (2010), that brought him nationwide fame, featuring hit singles like “Nwa Baby (Ashawo Remix)” and “Adamma”.
