Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu will hold a strategic meeting on Monday with All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders and candidates in preparation for the July 12 local government elections in Lagos.
The gathering, set to take place at the State House in Marina, is expected to include elected officials, political appointees, and all APC candidates contesting in the upcoming polls. The event is designed to strengthen campaign coordination and energise the party’s grassroots mobilisation.
According to the APC’s Lagos spokesperson, the meeting will act as a unifying moment as the party intensifies its campaign efforts across the state.
The APC says it is confident that the work done by local councils under its leadership—especially in education, healthcare, housing, and welfare—will earn strong support from voters.
This development follows the party’s official campaign flag-off, where over 400 candidates were presented to supporters at the APC’s state secretariat in Ogba. With just weeks to go before the election, the ruling party is sharpening its focus on voter outreach and internal cohesion.
