Amid swirling rumors and a suspicious resignation letter, the Sole Administrator of Ahoada East Local Government Area in Rivers State, Goodluck Iheamnacho, has firmly stated he has not left his position and remains in office.
The drama began when a document began circulating online, suggesting Iheamnacho had resigned. But he has dismissed it as a calculated attempt to mislead the public, pointing out that the letter contains a key error—it refers to a resignation date in July, even though the current month is June.
Speaking on the issue, Iheamnacho insisted the letter was not only fake but also part of a smear campaign. He raised concerns over the signature on the document, claiming it was forged, and said the people behind it were trying to discredit him.
Even more alarming, he revealed that there was a physical attack on him at his office, which he believes is connected to the forged letter. He denied authoring any resignation and urged the public to ignore the document.
“I am still the administrator,” he emphasized, calling on security agencies to investigate the source of the letter and the motives behind it.
