Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former Senate President Bukola Saraki have joined other Nigerians in celebrating the founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, on his 72nd birthday.

In separate messages shared on Sunday, the two former political leaders praised Oyedepo for his contributions to education, mentorship, philanthropy and human development.

Atiku described the cleric’s impact on society as significant, particularly his role in establishing and supporting educational institutions.

He congratulated Oyedepo on his birthday and acknowledged his service as Chancellor of Covenant University and Landmark University, as well as his work in mentoring people and supporting humanitarian causes.

According to Atiku, Oyedepo’s commitment to developing people and building institutions deserved recognition.

He also wished the bishop continued strength and good health as he marks another year.

Saraki, in his message, praised Oyedepo for remaining committed to his beliefs and for the influence of his ministry on many people.

“I have always admired the courage with which the Founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, stands by his convictions,” Saraki said.

He said Oyedepo had consistently expressed his views even when doing so was difficult, adding that his ministry had helped many people strengthen their faith.

Saraki prayed for the bishop’s continued good health and many more years of service to Nigerians and humanity.

Oyedepo, who founded Living Faith Church Worldwide, is also known for establishing Covenant University and Landmark University.
